I said I'll end it tonight, but I'm breaking
(You had your chance, you lost your touch)
I never wanted to lie awake
Your body heat
It brings me down
Breeding renewed feelings
(Leave)
We were stuck in different worlds
My only vice?
(Ignoring the phone calls)
(Was this how you wanted to sleep?)
I was hung up your touch
And you knew
(I've displayed my standings)
Was I pathetic
Trying to impress the mannequin signals you sent my way?
Was it just natural to want somebody who could still hold me
Despite my stains
This has been eating all of my hours
Struggling with guilting visions of you
Somehow I find myself still just hoping
Someday you'll end up sober again
I will not tear myself
To be within your breath
There's more to this than hate
I miss you none the less
And as for all our talks
I can't clean up your mess
There's more to this than hate
I miss you none the less
Facts stand, you're just his
Back to your old habits
Don't hold me back
I've been gone too long
This midnight hour
You could die
(Leave)
We were stuck in different worlds
My only vice?
(Ignoring the phone calls)
(Was this how you wanted to sleep?)
I was hung up your touch
And you knew
(I've displayed my standings)
Knocking on the doors
Asking for our names
Our license has expired
And we're tired of the same
I said I'll end it tonight, but I'm breaking
(You had your chance, you lost your touch)
I never wanted to lie awake
An elevator scene
Sharing stares and smiles
Focused on other things
Maybe another time
Stay back
Words were spoken
Stay back
I know your motives
Anchored lights
In tangent forms of hope
I've gone through replicas of souls
Away I fall
In oceanic permutations
We drift away
It fades to white

Where do you even start with this song? Everything about this song touches my soul and is so fun to listen to. The bridge had to be my favorite part of the song. The Dual vocals are one of my favorite things about this band. ColdHarbor Collective

The beginning riff set you up for a journey some people aren't ready for. This album is a masterpiece, I accidentally bought it twice but I'd buy it a third time ameier
